This page explains how payments to Fair Rate Travel Agency work today, how card payments are intended to work in the future, and how we verify a payment before treating it as received.
1. How Customers Can Pay Today
Fair Rate Travel Agency currently supports its existing manual payment methods. Customers pay the Fair Rate Travel Agency portion of a quotation by bank transfer to an account we publish, or by an in-branch bank deposit, using the instructions shown on the quotation, the invoice or the payment screen.
Our quotations state the amount payable to Fair Rate Travel Agency and the currency. The flight portion of a trip is paid directly to the airline or ticket seller, not to us.
2. Integrated Card Checkout Is Planned, Not Yet Active
An integrated card checkout is planned for the future. It is NOT active today, and no card payment can currently be completed through this website or the mobile application.
Where a customer sees an online card payment option that is not yet available, the screen states that the service is coming soon and directs the customer to our currently available payment methods.
3. How Card Payments Will Work
The intended future arrangement uses a payment-provider-hosted checkout. When that arrangement is in place, the customer will be taken to the authorized payment provider's own secure checkout page to enter their card details.
Card information will be entered on the payment provider's secure checkout page, not into any card-entry form on a Fair Rate Travel Agency page. Fair Rate Travel Agency does not operate its own card-entry form.
4. How We Verify a Card Payment
Fair Rate Travel Agency will treat a card payment as received only after it has been confirmed through the approved payment provider's own integration.
A customer returning to our website, or a page they land on after payment, does not by itself confirm that a payment succeeded.
5. Use Only Payment Instructions Issued by Us
Customers should pay only using payment instructions, links or account details issued through an authorized Fair Rate Travel Agency channel.
Booking payments should not be sent to referral partners, representatives or any third party unless Fair Rate Travel Agency has expressly authorized that in writing.
If you are unsure whether a payment instruction is genuine, do not pay. Contact us first at bookings@fairratetravelagency.com or through the telephone or WhatsApp contact published on our website.
6. Our Website Connection
This website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection.
Fair Rate Travel Agency does not ask customers to send card numbers, PINs or security codes by email, WhatsApp or any messaging service.
7. What We Do Not Claim
We do not state that a card payment gateway is approved, that card acquiring is operational, that 3D Secure or Address Verification Service is enabled, or that any particular security certification has been obtained, because none of these has been established at this time.
When a card checkout is activated, this page will be updated to describe accurately how it works.
8. Reporting a Payment Concern
If you believe a payment has been made incorrectly, or you are concerned about a payment instruction you have received, contact us at bookings@fairratetravelagency.com as soon as possible so we can look into it.
